About Milesago
Founded in 2019 by LenOne and AkidcalledChubz, Milesago is an independent record label based in Brisbane. We press Australian hip hop, beats, and sample-based music, the sounds worth preserving.
Milesago started because the records we wanted didn't always exist yet or were long out of print and impossible to find, so we pressed them ourselves. New music cut to wax for the first time and lost classics brought back to life, every step done right, from the master to the sleeve. If it's got our name on it, we stand behind it.
Between us we've spent a lifetime sharing music across generations. There's always something bubbling to the surface when the tall ship is riding high.

Behind the Label
LenOne is an OG crate digger and music aficionado with deep knowledge spanning multiple genres.
An MC and DJ, he came up as one half of Brothers Stoney alongside Lazy Grey and ran with Brisbane’s legendary 750 Rebels crew. In 1999 he made his first imprint on vinyl with the Boney & Stoney EP, now recognised as one of the pioneering releases of Australian hip hop.
Len held it down at Brisbane’s Rocking Horse Records for over a decade, moving wax to the city's DJs and diggers one record at a time.
The friendships he forged around the country through the formative years of the culture are the same ones that pave the way for Milesago releases today. His own Boney & Stoney EP is where it all began, two tracks reissued on the very first pressing in the Oz45 Archive series.
AkidcalledChubz is a selector and producer steeped in the Brisbane scene.
A record fiend who will hunt a 45 to the ends of the earth, Chubz came up alongside the 750 Rebels and Brisbane hip hop label, Karsniogenics with both hands never far from a crate.
He earned his stripes on community radio after taking the helm at Phat Tape hip hop show on 4ZZZ in the late 2000’s, promoting and pushing local releases, it’s that same instinct that drives the label today.
From pressing to presentation, Chubz brings the same care and aesthetic to Milesago. His collaboration with Lflows was the first record in the Milesago NuWave series, opening the door for the label’s contemporary pressings.
